My relationship with food has been a journey filled with struggles.
From secretive binge-eating and restriction in my teens to the pressure of a figure skating coach's "ideal" weight, I faced a turbulent path. When my health hit rock-bottom in 2019, I had to make a critical choice – take control or succumb to despair. I chose change, driven by the desire not to let my kids down and knowing that the life I was living was not the life I was meant to live.
I made myself the top priority, enduring a challenging year of gratitude journaling, motivational speeches, and adopting a whole foods nutrition lifestyle to heal from within. Dropping unhealthy habits, I reintroduced exercise and sought therapy to process years of emotional baggage. I stopped using alcohol as a coping mechanism. The last 4 years have seen a transformation – recertification in personal training, improved family relationships, and the launching of my second location.
With the support of my own coach and tribe, I've embraced new experiences, challenged myself, and developed a positive mindset. I've developed healthy coping strategies when my life is in a lull, and I have given myself grace.
Sharing my story is about acknowledging shared struggles and offering support. Despite appearances, I'm still learning and growing. My passion is to share my lessons and help others on their journey to success – whether it's getting out of bed, facing a challenging race, or finding balance with a cupcake at a birthday party. I'm here for whatever success means to you.

There are 10 years between these photos. I am grateful for what I had to experience through this process to get to where I am today. This hasn’t been easy and I am not stopping. A year after beginning on my healing path, I was still overweight, still sick, still in pain, but not as much. Each year was better. Each year I had setbacks. Each year was better than the last. Each year I learned to love myself again.
